FHS Gifts 100 Helmets to Patients During National Community Health Center Week

National Community Health Center Week (Aug 7-13) is a chance for us to show the innovative ways we are building strong communities. This year, we decided to focus on our community’s youngest members, and we offered free helmets to patients who visited our clinics!
As your community health center, we are striving to remove all of the challenges that people face when trying to live healthier lives. We do this regularly by helping our patients access social services, and events like this are a fun way to support our patients who may not have a safe helmet–a shiny new one never hurts, either!

We hope that the helmets will help these kids spend more time outside exercising, and we want to make sure they are safe while doing so!
