Family Health Services is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the entire family. And we recognize that families may need more than medical care.

Our clinics throughout Southern Idaho offer medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services that are convenient and affordable. We also provide health education, assistance with insurance enrollment, and care management services so we can help coordinate all of your healthcare needs.

We want everyone to feel welcome, so we are eliminating barriers to care. We accept all forms of insurance, and we offer sliding fee discounts for those without insurance. Spanish interpreters are available at all of our health centers, and we offer phone interpretation services for patients who are better served in another language.

Family Health Services is a Patient-Centered Medical Home - which is just how it sounds - patient-centered care is all about you and your health.

We do our best to make sure you see the same care team during each visit, so we can really get to know you and your family.

We believe that this is how you will get the best health outcomes.

Our healthcare teams include primary care providers, nurses, behavioral health consultants, medical assistants, care managers, outreach specialists, and enrollment specialists. These teams will communicate and coordinate all of your healthcare needs. Let’s say you come to your medical appointment and wish to see a dentist or speak with one of our counselors - we can make that provider a consistent member of your care team moving forward.

We are here to help in any way we can. If you have a complex health condition, we can refer you to a specialist. We can also connect you with resources that are available in your community, such as healthy-eating programs, transportation services, food pantries, and exercise classes.

Family Health Services is a Federally Qualified Health Center, and we provide comprehensive primary care services in underserved areas using funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Health Center Program. This program defines a set of requirements that ensures clinics are community-based and patient-directed. So we prioritize our patient's experience in every decision we make, even at the administrative level--we are operated by a Board of Directors who are all patients.

We have been recognized as a National Quality Leader by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, so we receive a majority of our funding through grants. We also partner with various organizations to ensure that our patients get all of the care they need. We are grateful for the organizations that supplement the work we do.
