Mental Health Treatment

School-Based Mental Health Treatment
- Individual and group treatment provided by FHS on the school’s campus.
- Strives to decrease the barriers that many students face.
- Works alongside the school’s team to compliment the work they are currently doing to support students.
Psychiatric Medication Management
Psychiatric nurse practitioners help patients whose current medications are not achieving the desired results for symptom management. They communicate with the patient and their primary care physician (PCP) to better understand medication needs and work on reaching symptom stability with medications.
Care will be transferred back to PCP for ongoing medication management after stabilization has occurred.
Community-Based Services
Community-Based Rehabilitation
- Designed for adults & children.
- Focused on developing skills.
- Provided in the community and/or home to help build and reinforce social, emotional and self-care skills to increase daily functioning and successfully handle stressful situations.
Peer Support
- Work with people who have been successful in the mental health and/or substance use recovery process.
- Learn from their personal experience to help navigate the process of recovery.
- Through shared understanding, respect and mutual empowerment, peer support workers help people stay engaged in the recovery process.
Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)
- Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is a way of delivering a full range of services to people who have a primary diagnosis of schizophrenia or related psychotic disorders or bipolar disorder. ACT's goal is to give patients adequate community care and to help them have a life that isn't dominated by their mental illnesses.
- How Does ACT Help Patients? With ACT, patients get help taking care of their basic needs—taking medications, getting up, and getting through the day. ACT teams work closely with consumers to see which medications work best for them. They help consumers find housing, apply for food stamps, go back to school, or get a job.
- A Team Approach: Psychiatrists, nurses, mental health professionals, employment specialists, substance-abuse specialists, and certified peers join together on ACT teams to give patients ongoing, individualized care.

Well the one time i actually needed to speak w a dentist. I called at 10 minutes to 5. No answer..i broke two teeth on the side and exposed the nerve. This happened at 4:25 same day. Even though hours of op are until 5 on fridays they tirned the phones off
early...when you say 5pm. It doesnt mean 4:50. Wwll....time for some whiskey and a pair of pliers

I am so grateful to have family health services in our small town. There has been so many occasions when I’ve had to go in for something and they were able to get me in the same day. It’s so nice not having to drive an hour to get to a walk in clinic. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. Having a clinic and pharmacy in town is so convenient.

Fairfield is SO lucky to have this clinic available to us for a multitude of services! The staff is super friendly and helpful. And the pharmacy tech there really is a gem! She goes above and beyond to help everyone and make sure you are taken care of in a timely manner! Would highly recommend using this clinic! 5🌟

Have been going to this specific office for 3 months now. Excellent customer service. I have weekly visits and my provider helps with any medication shifts or troubles i have. I have been seeing that provider for 3 yesrs in total, they just recently moved to this office. The office staff is kind and personable. You can tell they care.

I took my daughter in during covid for Bronchitis that she gets every year. We were not allowed in the building at the time so we were seen in the car in the parking lot. My autistic daughter was 13 years old at the time and pretty chesty, there was also a car full of people very close to us. Dr.Levin had her step out of the car so he could hear her breathing from the back. He was very ruff with her and when he ripped her top up in back he almost exposed her chest to the car full of people next to us.
I tell people all the time to not see him and ask for the other doctors because I have only ever had bad times with the man.

Doctor Lavin is hands down the worst most judgemental doctor I've ever had the misfortune of being seen by, didn't listen to any of my concerns or questions had a preconceived notion of who I was before even talking to me 10/10 wouldn't recommend to anyone I understand it's Fairfield and we get who we get but this man is trash he will judge you unfairly and belittle and condensed you through out the entirety of your visit.

Was seeing FHS for a behavioral health specialist. I was having a terrible day and was extremely suicidal. I was heading to my destination with a loaded gun. I sent my behavioral specialist a message, asked for help. Asked for some coping skills or something. I was told my issues were better suited for a different provider. So I went to my destination put the gun in my mouth and a cop pulled in. He saw my gun and me crying and helped me. Thank God for Twin Falls police department. Do NOT go here for therapy. I have never had a behavioral health person basically tell me to go to hell and go suck start a shotgun. DO NOT GO HERE FOR HELP!

I’m really sad I had a great therapist, but he left. The next one they gave me did not do much with me and was not compassionate to the most important day of my life and didn’t bother apologizing or correcting it so they gave me someone who did not speak at all. I sat on the phone and went over my dbt paperwork sent to me by myself speaking to myself, I wasn’t given the weekly appointments requested, so a month between when the cancel on you then suddenly no reminder call and I also couldn’t have zoom anymore. I just kinda got dropped. The office staff used to be very fond of me it seemed but I’m just a person among many so if you lose a few so what right? It’s not about us it’s about the money I guess.

I have been going to 325 Martin st and Dr. Hodges since 2014. Him and the other staff have always been great when at location and during appointments. The phone manners need some work. I don't make appointments often but in the last couple months I've made a few and each time they have a poor attitude, seem bothered by my call, leave me on hold for over 15 minutes to confirm one simple question. I have even had them try to lie to me saying my doctor doesn't do that procedure when I know for a fact he does. I hope someone is actually listening to these recorded calls.

So I had an appointment a week ago and I couldn't make it. They called me during work and I obviously couldn't answer the phone and the next morning was too early to even call to reschedule my appointment. They went ahead and canceled all 5 other of my dentist appointments for missing 1!!! And again couldn't cancel or answer the phone while I was at work🤦🏼♀️ now I understand I should have called days in advance but I was also busy with kiddos and getting my car fixed. I only get 2 days a week off and when I'm working they are closed. I was so upset that they canceled all my appointments...so I went with Aspen Dental. Hassle free online scheduling and I can even go in on the weekends! I'll definitely take my business over there and they also go off your income!

Really love Ryan Hodges and the nursing staff at 325 Martin! They are professional, friendly, and try to get things figured out. Rarely have to wait to be seen. I have now transferred care to the Kimberly clinic, but only because I live there. Hate leaving my provider!

I am so grateful for the Family Health Services available to us here in little Fairfield. The staff is friendly, competent, as well as informational about the health of my little one. It is so nice to be able to go here to get my child the help she needs to stay healthy.

so long story short, i set an appointment 3 TIMES and they changed it because the doctor that was going to fix my teeth was not there. but really? 3 times… i don’t recommend paying for this place and that’s not the only thing. i actually went to my appointment one time and i had a filling and they did a cleaning! MY TEETH ARE THIN, I HAD A CLEANING 2 TIMES A MONTH. also they thought that i was young and stupid that’s why they did a cleaning although they had to do a filling. if your going to stay in this place expect these things to happen.

Best Doctors in Town....Been going here for over 6 years to Dr. Canty she is so welcoming and kind and is always on top of things, I can't say enough nice things about her and staff....The building is always clean and receptionist are friendly ....

Staff has always been very kind and helpful.! First time I came in I just had a baby and he was in NICU for being 2 months early. I was under a lot of stress and Dr. Lund was rude and even his nurses said he is known to have horrible bed side manner but is good. I’m sorry I don’t want someone who is going to talk down and rude to me. So I explained my situation and they recommended Dr. Brooke. Best choice ever. She is kind and compassionate and always all around great! I won’t get seen by anyone else. Going to the dentist is a scary thing for most people and Dr. Brooke will treat you right!

We spent over 50 minutes in the waiting room and We were the only two people there for about half an hour when my mother went to complain (in Spanish)about it, one of the receptionist then said she had no idea we were still waiting meanwhile the other two bilingual receptionist then started talking about my mother saying really offensive things (in english of course) thinking we wouldn't understand stand ! WORST PLACE TO GO !
