Biography

My family brought me to Idaho when I was 9, and the Magic in the Magic Valley has kept me here since. Driven by a love for the people and the area I serve, and for the belief in the power of education, collaboration, and compassion to drive meaningful change in local healthcare access and delivery, I have chosen to serve as the South Central Idaho Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Director, where I will lead initiatives focused on enhancing healthcare education and access in underserved communities. Drawing from Family Health Services (FHS) extensive background in public health and community outreach, I am committed to building a healthier, more informed community through innovative programs and strategic partnerships. Under FHS leadership, the SC ID AHEC will successfully implement a range of initiatives designed to train and empower healthcare professionals, foster collaboration between community organizations and education institutions, and provide critical health resources to those who need them most. My deep connection to the community is rooted in my own past experiences and dedication to improving the health outcomes of individuals and families across the region. Outside of my professional work, I love spending time with family and friends, projects around the house, mountain and gravel biking, hiking, and just exploring all the beauty that Idaho has to offer.
