Biography
After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2006 with a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, my family and I moved to the Mini-Cassia area. During the course of my professional experiences, I have been privileged to work with various populations; ranging from, but not limited to, incarcerated and at-risk adolescents, young adults experiencing stressful life adjustments, couples dealing with marital problems, foster children who have endured an assortment of painful events, parents having difficulty raising a child with behavior problems, teens and adults who struggle with anxiety and mood disorders, etc. Using Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral (DBT), Individual Psychology, Ego Psychology, Lifespan Integration (LI), Mindfulness-Based and Gottman-Based therapies/interventions, I strive to maintain a goal-oriented, strengths-based therapeutic approach with those I serve.
