I am a Licensed Master Social Worker providing evidenced-based mental health intervention to children and adolescents at Bickel Elementary School and Bridge Academy.
I have nearly ten years of experience working in the human service field advocating for the vast and complex needs of marginalized groups such as survivors of violence, individuals involved within the criminal-legal system, as well as youth in foster care. I am very passionate about systemic work and have held many different volunteer positions focused on meeting the diverse needs of our local community.
I have specialized training addressing sexually maladaptive behaviors in both children and adults as well as trauma-informed intervention techniques designed to meet the unique needs of children. Utilizing both humanistic and psycho-dynamic approaches, I value connection, authenticity, and celebration of one’s individual strengths and abilities in and out of session.
