Bio
I have wanted to be a dietitian ever since I learned it was a field of study in high school, I have loved it ever since. I spent my teen years focusing on nutrition and fitness as a way to help myself, now I get to share with others!
In my spare time I enjoy taking Zumba classes, playing the piano, eating sushi, learning to speak Spanish, and traveling with my family.
A question I often get asked is why I am in a wheelchair. The short answer is my pelvis is messed up from having children.
I am excited to be part of Family Health Services and love my job as a diabetes and nutrition education instructor. I get to see how much better people can feel when they have the right tools. It's awesome!
