Biography
I grew up in the Magic Valley. After receiving my undergraduate degree at Idaho State University, I lived in Ulan Ude, Russia for two years before settling down in the Midwest. Though I love experiencing other places and cultures, Idaho is home. I returned in 2015 and appreciate the calmer pace and abundant outdoor opportunities like hiking, paddle boarding, biking, and walking with friends. As a counselor, I seek to offer a safe environment for clients to navigate challenging seasons in life. I have personally benefitted from seasons of quality counseling and want to offer the same opportunity for others in all walks of life.
I have twin teenage girls who are a bundle of fun and completely opposite personalities. We enjoy rock climbing, water fights, and watching musicals like Hamilton and In the Heights. I run regularly and enjoy all kinds of outdoors activities – hiking, paddle boarding, biking, walking. I enjoy ballroom dancing, watching live theater and traveling whenever I get the chance. I look forward to working with Family Health Services because they seek to provide quality services for all people, regardless of age, income or situation. Life isn’t fair, and sometimes all our hard work still lands us in need of support, whether financial, emotional or relational. I have needed support from others, and I am glad to have the chance to give it as well.
